I enjoy creating animations of astronomical research, because I consider them an important tool to visualize the results for scientific as well as public outreach purposes.
This movie shows the time evolution of the sub-parsec scale jet interpolated from seven TANAMI observations between 2007 and 2011 featured in Müller et al. 2014, A&A, 569, A115; (see also the homepage of Cornelia Müller)
IC310 is a peculiar AGN showing unusually high short term variability at TeV energies. I created this animation for release of the paper (Aleksiç et al. 2014, Science, 346, 1080). It is also available on youtube.
Images of the twin jets in NGC1052 taken with VLBA at 43GHz between 2005 and 2009 are interpolated here to visualize their evolution over time. The images are featured in Anne-Kathrin Baczko's Master Thesis.
